What a fun way to reimagine plastic waste as a piece of art!
 
This beluga whale was made by Founder and President of VIP's Fund, Daphne Matter. Baby Beluga is made of white acrylic yarn that was donated to us instead of sitting around in a closet or landfill, and the bow is made from a chain of red/purple yarn from Daphne's personal collection. The eyes are made from second-hand black yarn, and best of all, the whale is stuffed with plastic bags! We put the plastic in the belly of the fake whale to keep it out of the real ones ;)
